Shipping Information


Please Note:

During the winter months, we try to look carefully at the weather forecasts. If we feel that the weather may delay your shipment to arrive on a specific day, we reserve the right to not ship your order, and we will contact you to reschedule your delivery. Although it is not guaranteed, we are acting on your behalf. We want to do everything we can to ensure you have a great experience!

The Lobster Net currently ship orders Monday through Thursday, with delivery on Tuesday through Friday.

* Saturday delivery (where available), has an additional $19.00 dollar flat charge. If you are unsure if Saturday delivery is available to your area, please call us Toll Free @ 800-360-9520 and we will be pleased to check for you.

* After you have placed your order, you will receive an email confirming your order with your order number.

* You will receive a SECOND email from The Lobster Net with your UPS Tracking Number ON the day your order is shipped out for delivery. Tracking numbers are usually sent after 3 pm EST.

* Tracking numbers are NOT available until day of shipment and will be emailed to you prior to UPS pick up.

With extreme temperatures in the South and Midwest, receiving
perishable shipments requires more attention. We highly
recommend customers sign up with
UPS MY CHOICE.

This is a free service that provides shipment & delivery
notifications that can be sent directly to YOUR email or mobile device.


* Once your Package has left our docks, it is in the hands of
UPS. If you require additional information on your package, please contact UPS directly, toll free @ 1-800-PICK-UPS (1-800-742-5877) and they will more than happy to assist you.

* We ship all orders direct overnight via UPS in the Contiguous United States to you or your recipients.

* There are NO P.O. Box, FPO or APO deliveries.

* We send ALL packages "SHIPPER RELEASE" which allows the UPS delivery person to leave the package at its destination.

* Our packages are typically delivered between 9 am - 5 pm.

* If UPS deems your area to be NOT satisfactory to leave your package SIGNATURE RELEASE, UPS reserves the right to not leave the package, and you will be contacted to arrange for the next suitable delivery or pick up.

* If you are shipping to an apartment or office building, UPS will make ONE attempt to deliver. Please advise your recipient that they should expect a delivery.

* To ensure on time delivery, please make sure the recipient information you provide us for your order is current and accurate.

* We are not be responsible for delayed deliveries due to inaccurate shipping information, and additional delivery charges may be applied for address correction and re-routing for proper delivery. PLEASE check your delivery information carefully! (Also, in this case same day delivery is no longer guaranteed)

* Shipments to warm weather climates should NOT be left unattended for long. Your box is a shipping container and needs

to be cared for accordingly, and it should NOT be left out in the heat.

* We are not responsible for weather delays which UPS deems to be an "Act of God", that may delay or impair your delivery.

* We also ship to limited locations in Hawaii & Alaska. Please call for availability and shipping prices to those areas

****Shipments of live product into Hawaii also require import permits! This is the receivers’ responsibility! We will need a copy of your Hawaii import permit before we can ship any live product there.

How do I create an account?
  1) Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right side of our site.
2) Enter your email address.
3) Select "I am a new customer".

Then simply follow the prompts to complete setting up your account. Your information is NEVER sold to any other company and is kept completely private. Please view our Privacy Policy for more information.

How much is my shipping?
 

A SHIPPING COST

You pay a flat rate no matter where the package is going. Consider that a long haul overnight delivery - in most cases, by 1:00 pm the next day. A bit of a specialist in next day delivery!

All Lobster prices on our website INCLUDE shipping. We ship Monday-Friday for delivery on Tuesday-Saturday. Saturday delivery is an additional $18.00 dollar flat charge. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii are an additional $25.00 dollar flat charge and can only be delivered Tuesday thru Friday. If you are having something delivered on Saturday to a rural area, confirm with UPS that your area is serviced by them as UPS does not go to some rural areas on Saturday's.

If no lobster products are purchased their will be an additional shipping fee of $45.00; call to place you order. If you would like a Saturday delivery there will be an additional $18 shipping charge. Gift Certificates are sent regular mail free or you can select to have the certificate sent overnight for $22 or 2nd day for $18.
I forgot my password.
  Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site. Under the login box you'll see a link that says "Forgot your password? Click here". That link will send an email to you with your password.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any item from The Lobster Net, we’ll promptly make things right. We guarantee every product in our store to provide 100% satisfaction. NEXT DAY DELIVERY TO YOUR DOOR STEP! Any damage claims or non-delivery claims must be made on day of delivery by calling 1-800-360-9520.

Priority Overnight Delivery

The Lobster Net seafood is delivered next-day air. We can ship same day orders if we receive them by 1:00 noon EST. Otherwise, your order will ship the next business day. Orders will be delivered to your door between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The Lobster Net recommends someone be home to receive the package. We have waived the signature required on all orders and will not be held responsible if no one is home and the package is left unattended. Seafood left outside the door for an extended period or improperly handled/stored, lobsters will not survive.

All damage claims must be made on day of delivery by calling 800-360-9520. No claims will be honored if not made on day of delivery.
